I'm an old soul with a love for the sentimental and romantic. You can often find me getting lost for hours in my favorite antique stores, admiring every magical find and wondering at the story of an item and the life it has lived. I believe that the most beautiful things have a history, and love that my photography is a marriage of those two things: beauty, and a compelling story. 

I'm happiest curled up at home with my husband, Drew, and our dog (a beautiful Foxhound named Sadie!) reading a fantasy or romance book, teaching myself a new craft (I'm loving watercolor and embroidery, as of late), rewatching the Harry Potter or Star Wars movies, or planning our next travel adventure or local jaunt to the beach.

BEHIND THE LENS

I find creative inspiration in some of my favorite things - fine art, European history, old Hollywood black and white movies, antiques, fashion, and literature; I'm always finding new ways to incorporate these things into my work, whether it be the perfect antique bauble for my flat lays, breathtaking light that lends a near-painterly quality to my images, or dreamy, effortless posing that feels straight out of a romance film.

My outgoing and bubbly personality is something my clients know and love me for, and you can expect your own personal hype girl when you're in front of my camera. I cherish the opportunity to learn your story, share in your joy, and be an observer and artist in one as I document each wedding day. Truly, how lucky am I that this is my job?!

A few of my forever-favorites: an ice cold Coke and fries from McDonalds, the 2005 Pride & Prejudice, a Noah Kahan or Gregory Alan Isakov vinyl on my record player, and Brambleberry Crisp ice cream from Jeni's.
