It's all of the little behind-the-scenes, in-between moments that can make or break a great photographer. I believe I have a servant's heart and love those little moments that sometimes feel like they have nothing to do with being a photographer, but everything to do with being a true friend to my clients.
At the end of the day, I will always strive not only for great images, but also a great experience where you feel like you've spent the day with an old friend, not just your photographer, and can look back on the memories I captured with more joy than ever before.
I'm so glad you stopped by! Just as I hope to get to know your story, I'd love for you to know a little bit of mine. I've always loved art, and picked up a camera for the first time during my high school days; it's honestly hard to believe that over eight years later, I'm living my biggest dream as a wedding photographer in Charleston, something I never thought was within my reach. Not a day goes by that I don't remember how I started, and how blessed I am to do what I do.
When I don't have my camera in hand, you can bet I'm enjoying time with my husband and our pup, Sadie, going for long walks in downtown Charleston to find new locations for my next shoot, rooting for the Chicago Cubs, baking ALL of the sweets, snuggling up with a good book, daydreaming of my next vacation or jaunt to Disney World, or searching high and low for the best brunch spots.
I started taking photos around the age of 14, and from that moment on, my love for photography has steadily blossomed into the full-fledged business that it is today. And truthfully, I have my incredible clients to thank for the constant chances to chase this dream. For me, the relationships I have built with so many of my clients has been the greatest reward to come from being a photographer. I am truly passionate about serving my clients in any way I can, and providing them not only with beautiful photos they're cherish forever, but also a wonderful, stress-free experience in front of the camera.
Drew and I met in college when we both switched to Graphic Design at the same time, and truthfully, I knew right away he was my person! We've been together five years, and said our vows in an intimate ceremony in Charleston (at Upstairs at Midtown), in August of 2020!
One of my biggest mantras is that, the legacy we leave behind is rooted in the relationships we make! This is true for my closest loved ones, but just as important are all of my clients and HFP family, who trust me with some of the most important moments of their lives!
